Lets Talk About Cheese Event
Presented by The Boston Globe, Culture magazine, & Let’s Talk About Food
Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (EDT)
Normally, you’d need your passport to taste cuisine from the number of countries represented at this year’s Let’s Talk About Cheese event. Luckily, this October 3 on Copley Square, all you’ll need is a ticket.
At the first-ever Let’s Talk About Cheese, you’ll taste a variety of cheeses from every corner of the globe. Sample Gruyère from Switzerland, KoKos® – Coconut Cheese from Holland, Grana Padano from Italy, Camembert from France, clothbound cheddar from England, and sheep’s milk cheese from Northern Holland. Try all these and more while learning about what makes each of them distinct and delicious. Enjoy beer, wine, and cider plus crackers, jams, and charcuterie while mingling with cheesemongers and – makers.
Prepare your palate and check out the cheeses that will make an appearance at this year’s event:
Cheeseland will be showcasing:
1. The Innovative customer favorite KoKos® – Coconut Cheese.
A creamy Dutch cheese made with a dash of organic coconut cream.
2. Their beelicious Honey Bee Goat® Cheese
A pure goat’s milk cheese mixed with a dash of honey for a lightly sweet and nutty goat cheese.
3. The new and delightful Dutch Girl® – Aged Goat Cheese
Made with the same recipe as Ewephoria® Aged Sheep’s Milk Cheese, but uses goat milk. This cheese is aged for extra flavor but stays delightfully smooth and creamy.
4. The classic Two Sisters® Isabella®
Like a buttery aged Gouda but nuttier and sweeter. This recipe for this aged cheese calls for extra cream.
5. Ewephoria® Aged Sheep’s Milk Cheese
The ever popular 100% sheep’s milk cheese. A Creamy, sweet, nutty cheese that will melt in your mouth.
